Furniture Sharehouse provides free furniture to economically disadvantaged individuals and families living in Westchester County, giving them the basic household furnishings that enable them to rebuild their lives and live with dignity. Please click the button below for exact donation guidelines.

The Guidance Center of Westchester offers essential and lasting support to those challenged by mental illness, substance abuse, poverty, and homelessness. We empower our participants to become active members of their community through education, treatment, housing, and rehabilitative and vocational services.

To that end, our goal is to create a living environment that is not just a shelter, but a transitional home for stray, lost, abandoned, injured, and abused animals, until they can ultimately be placed in loving permanent homes.

Established in 2005, Operation PROM helps low-income students attend their Proms by providing free Prom dresses and tuxedos. Operation PROM provides resources, opportunity and mentoring to at-risk teens, those who are homeless, sick, or disabled.
